Using the launderette as a space, and focusing on the idea that each person is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, Oliver Mayhall delves into the thoughts, fears, dreams and idiosyncrasies of people doing their laundry.
Whilst studying for a degree in history at the University of Nottingham, Oliver developed a passion for street photography in his free time. to acquire the skills to be able to tell stories in a creative way and gained a place to study a Masters in documentary filmmaking at Goldsmiths in London.
Oliver's graduation film, 'Launderette', was selected by Goldsmiths to represent the University at the Royal Television Society Awards in the student factual category.
