Cape Town. Three men from Zimbabwe who came to South Africa in search of work and a better life, now spend their days on the side of a street, hoping for a job. An intimate look at what it is like to be a homeless refugee living on the streets of an afrophobic country and the dreams that the men have for their futures.
Thandi Sebe, born to a South African actor father and German mother in Berlin in 1988 and raised in a political theatre landscape in Post Apartheid Cape Town, South Africa. Since completing her studies, she has been working in Berlin theatres as an actress, author and director. Her latest production “Jung, giftig und Schwarz” which she wrote, directed and starred in, has been regularly playing at the renowned Ballhaus Naunynstrasse since early 2015.
